Dear platform gurus,

I'm quite happy after having refactoring my code for working with command.

Bye bye actions.

I have created lots of command with the names and descriptions.

I would like that in the tooltip of a command contribution in a toolbar to appear the description (longer) instead of the name (normally short).

Thanks for yor recommendations.

I think in commands it defaults to the name, see
org.eclipse.ui.menus.CommandContributionItem.updateToolItem( )

I've already patched my copy of org.eclipse.ui.workbench
I think that the default behaviour shoud be:

- Description of the command
- Or the name of the command if the previous one unavailable

If necessary I can submit a patch.

As promised, I have patched the HEAD version of the repository.
Sorry, I don't know how to make patches with CVS.
