If you don't understand something, ask. Eclipse people tend do be nice
to contributor wannabees. Patches may be submitted with and RFC prefix,
to the subject, or if you are really unsure it's probably better to
post here or to the dev mailing list.
I have a hunch that implementing stash won't be very hard, but as Chris
says: Step one is to do it in JGit.
