We recently added <property name="eclipselink.cache.shared.default" value="false"/> to the persistence.xml to turn off caching of the query results. This change seems to be causing some issues with with entities that have Discrimitor Columns defined. The discriminator value is coming through as null now when it used to be set fine previous to this. Any ideas?

Hello,

I do not see how these two things can be related as the descriminator column should be read in from the database, not the cache anyway. Please provide more information on your entities - perhaps it might be better to file a bug where you can provide a small reproducable test case.

Can you show a particular query you are having problems with?

Best Regards,
Chris
