I edited a remote file using RSE and and saved it, expecting the change would be in the remote file. But the remote file did not change. Instead the change went into a "Pending Changes" archive on my local machine. I did not find a way to get the pending changes to the remote system. I need to know how to do this.

Hello Stephen,

Usually, RSE should write to the remote file immediately, just as you expect.

The only reason I can think of for not doing so, is when there is a conflict (remote file changed unexpectedly), or a permission problem (you don't have the right to write to the remote file).

Please investigate the situation in a bit more detail, and if you still think it doesn't behave as expected, file a defect:

Thanks,
Martin
