I know this was asked in June 2010 (http:// www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=tree&goto=537299&) but the answer seemed to indicate it is possible. The tutorial on acitivity diagrams(http:// www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/papyrus/usersTutorials/resource s/PapyrusTutorial_OnActivityDiagrams_v0.1_d20101014.pdf) also suggests it is possible but does not show how.

Is it still possible? I don't seem to be able to find the suggested groups option on the palette?

Could anyone provide a simple step by step to create a partition on an activity diagram?

Many thanks,

Darren

Seems to be a regression.

To create activity partitions I use 0.7.0. In the palette: groups -> activity partition. It is the last version able to do it.

It is the same with guards after a decision node (http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=203435). In 0.7.0 it is ok but not in 0.7.1 and after. Do you have the same pb?

I'd be able to stay in 0.7.0 but a lot of new features (resizing...) are interesting (necessary) in 0.7.2 and 0.8... So i switch constantly between 0.7.0 and 0.7.2. Not very friendly...

Hope it helps

Manu.

Thank you for that, at least I'm not going mad.
