I am surprised to find one of the most basic use cases not working and I don't know if it has anything to with my installation. I am using helios javaee ide + latest release of m2eclipse plugin. I have imported a maven project from existing sources. Then when I try to add a new maven module with archetype "webapp-javaee6" or "ejb-javaee6", it creates the new module, but while trying to update the parent POM, it almost empties it. Has anyone observed any such behavior?
