Hi.
paperwork is done and code recommenders is currently moving to eclipse.
We applied for the parallel IP process to get to work as soon as
possible. Until we passed the preliminary approval we use a interim
update site hosted under
http://vandyk.st.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/updates/sneak/
The code there is a rewrite of the existing code base and works with
Eclipse 3.6 only.
Currently available features are:
* Intelligent Method Call Completion
* Intelligent Method Override Completion
* Intelligent Method Call Chain Completion
The dataset is still reduced because shipping all models in one large
zip would force you to download hundreds of MBs. We are developing an
new distribution method for our models.
Maxime,
based on your suggestions we've implemented is a new instant calls
recommender which computes recommendations on the fly (in addition to
the classic on-save implementation). I would like to get you feedback :-)
Please note, this drop is not thouroughly tested. Thus you may
experience exceptions and error messages. If you experience any
exceptions, strange behaviors, or have suggestions like Maxime - let us
know!
Strange behaviors and suggestions best go to this forum; exceptions and
bugs should go to eclipse bugzilla here: http://goo.gl/wErzA
Thanks and welcome again!
Marcel
