I've been using Eclipse for the last few months to code Android projects.

Someone asked me how many lines of code my current project has; so I downloaded and installed the Metrics plugin.

When I did this, the Android plugin disappeared.

I think what's happening here is a different version of Eclipse is opening. I think this because when I restarted Eclipse to finish the Metrics plugin installation, the Help menu changed (and subsequently, the workflow for reaching the plugin management stuff).

However, I'm using a Mac and I have Eclipse on my dock at all times. When I click the dock icon, it now launches [what I think] is a different version of Eclipse.

When I go into Applications (where I have Eclipse installed), I don't see any other versions of Eclipse.

Any ideas?

Update: I've tried to reinstall the plugin and I receive the following error:

You cannot install in the site "file:/Applications/eclipse/". It is considered non updateable. The site is marked as read only.
