Hi,

I installed eclipse with PDT in order to accelerate the development of my project, which grew out of it's initial bounds.

The point is that i have a lot of files on remote server with related database. I need to work with this bunch of code directly on the server (downloading to local and publishing back is inappropriate for several reasons) , therefore i need to create an remote project that will contain all these files so that I can work with them in a reasonable way.

I've installed the Target Management (RSE) and managed to connect to the server via FTP, the files, however, are not aligned to any project as far as I feel it and therefore i cant make the best of the IDE (like code assistant etc).

I also couldnt find any sufficient tutorial that would describe this topic adequately, therefore i hope that someone here is capable of solving this issue.

I'm totaly new to eclipse and would appreciate any help given about the problem I'm coping with.
