How to notify changes in bundle cache? [message #648590] Thu, 13 January 2011 15:27

Hello,

i have a bundle implementing functionality using a persistent cache in
the workspace. This cache contains also url's pointing to resources
(like icon's) in other bundles. Mostly that url's are located in the
bundle cache
(bundleentry://3382.fwk20287235/icons/full/obj16/Package.gif as example).
After an update of bundles (via update manager) many of these entries
are invalid, so i want to rebuild my own persistent cache in case of
add/remove/update of bundles. But i cannot find any (OSGI) service or
API to register a listener for changes in the bundle cache or (more
general) the platform/installation.
Can anybody tell me a way how i can get notifications about that changes?

Thanks
Ralf
