Java Perspective sees a project; Java Browsing Perspective doesn't [message #647711] Fri, 07 January 2011 23:52 Go to next message

Searched unsuccessfully to an answer to this question. I sometimes find that the Java Perspective can display a project happily, but, the same project fails to be displayed by the Java Browsing Perspective. Why is this? Is there a fix which allows Java Browsing to see the same projects?

Thanks much,

The Projects view in the Java Browsing perspective only shows Java projects.

You could replace the Projects view with the Package Explorer.

Hi Dani, thanks it is a Java project. I've been using the Package Explorer, but it seems odd that the Projects view doesn't seem to keep correct sync between the Java and Java Browsing Perspectives.

Never heard of that. Please file a bug report with steps to reproduce or
attach a project to the bug that shows the issue.
