I've created a RAP project in Eclipse Helios and i would like to deploy this on my Tomcat server. I found an articel which describes the way to do this, but it didn't work for me.

This is the article i followed:

http://eclipsesource.com/blogs/2010/08/17/equinoxrap-war-dep loyment-an-end-to-the-pain/

And this is the error i get:

- Library doesn't exist at location rg.eclipse.equinox.servletbridge_1.2.0.v20091026.jar.
- Missing library: org.eclipse.equinox.servletbridge.jar

I found something of it on the internet, but I couldn't solve the problem. Does anybody know how to solve it?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Ricky,
You can download the org.eclipse.equinox.servletbridge plugin from the CVS repository (:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/rt), also another way to create the war is with ant http:// help.eclipse.org/help33/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.rap.hel p/help/html/advanced/deployment.html

Hi Ricky,
thats a known bug in the tooling. But there is a simple work around.

1) Download the requiredBundles.zip from the blog post.
2) create a lib folder in your project and copy the jar from the
requiredBundles.zip in this folder.
3) Open your warproduct with the warproduct editor and add the library manually
4) revalidate and export.

Hope this helps.

Regads Holger

The problem is that I used the target for 1.4. With the target for 1.3 it works well. I haven't tried your solution yet..

Hi Husein,
as I pointed to you in an email reply please provide the ss output from
the OSGi instance. With the current information we can't give you any
advices. Sorry.
