Hi all,

As part of our modular build we are looking to push our Tycho built OSGi
bundles into a repository so the development team can treat some of our own
source bundles as binary dependencies. However these will change
frequently. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we can update the
IDE target platform more efficiently to take on board these changes (e.g.
ticking up qualifier stamp on bundle version)? We are currently using
Eclipse Helios SR1.

Thanks and Happy New Year for 2011,
Dan

In 3.7 M4 we added the ability to update a target definition that uses p2 repositories. A button is available on the target definition editor locations tab. Pressing it will search the repositories for more recent versions of the selected installable units and download them.

Hi Curtis,

Thanks for that - looks like moving to a 3.7 M4 IDE might be on the cards
then...

I guess now the only gap to fill is the population/update of a P2
repository as part of a Tycho build. May double publish to Artifactory and
to a P2 repo (tycho build is sourcing bundle/package dependencies from our
Artifactory instance)?
