Hi,

I'm looking for the source that corresponds to this jar:
org.eclipse.uml2.uml_2.1.1.v200707311200.jar

I found the sources on the CVS in module org.eclipse.mdt/org.eclipse.uml2/plugins/org.eclipse.uml2.um l on dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/modeling

But I couldn't find any tags, so I'm not sure how to get the right version.

I used this command:
cvs -d /cvsroot/modeling co -D "07/31/2007 12:00" org.eclipse.mdt/org.eclipse.uml2/plugins/org.eclipse.uml2.um l

Can you confirm that this gave me the right version?
Has UML2 always been developped on the same branch (trunk)?

You can still find UML2 2.1.1 in the UML2 archived builds:

http://archive.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/uml2/downloads/drops /2.1.1/R200708301304/

If you download the SDK drop, you will get the sources that were used to create that build along with it (assuming you don't require a check out from CVS). They are bundled as part of the org.eclipse.uml2.source plugin.

Not sure about UML2, but in Eclipse base projects, maintenance releases are generated from a maintenance branch, not from HEAD.

Cheers,

Rafael
