i've read tutorial after tutorial and most of them are clearly out of date ...

I'm on a Mac - and am using the built-in Apache, and PHP installs - OS X 10.6.

I have Zend Debugger installed and it works via CLI just fine - I can step through code in eclipse without problem ... "but" (there's always a but).

When I try to direct the php to the web browser to debug or just to simply view the output ... I get a nice "path not found" message ...

One one-hand it makes since, since I don't have my project workspace on the server (seems counter-productive) ... but I've even gone and tried to add "path" data to the eclipse server specification and well, it doesn't seem to work either.

Side-note, the "test debug" option in the server setup returns "Success" ... so ... um ... can someone lead me to a current configuration tutorial that explains the proper configuration for eclipse PDT and Mac 10.6 - that isn't trying to tell me to install *AMP ?

is there some way for me to have a project on the webserver with out all the extra "project" files also on the server? (i.e. all those hidden directories .project, .setup, etc ..)
