Is there some way I can suppress or disable the "Installed Software" & "Installation History" tabs on Help | About | Installation Details button in a RCP?

I'm not using P2 for this particular application so there will never be any history and the installed software tab has no content.

Thanks!

david

Hi David,

The pages you describe are contributed by the extension point
org.eclipse.ui.installationPages. From the references of this extension point
I see that o.e.e.p2.sdk.ui is contributing the two pages you mention. In
short, if you do not include the P2 SDK in your product then these pages
should not appear.

convention?

That I figured out ... I'm not requiring the p2 SDK in my plugin, feature, or product. I'm not sure where it's coming from.

Thanks ... just tried that.

Doesn't show any dependency on p2 at all. Sad
