I am trying to add constraints to my meta-model, for example, to ensure that a node cannot have a link to itself. There exists some GMF examples showing the addition of OCL based link constraints to the GmfMap file. I have had a look at EVL, which will be useful in terms of providing full model validation, however, I cannot see whether it is possible to apply EVL to the link constraint example above.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Hi Dan,

It is not possible to define EVL constraints in the GmfMap. I'm actually
not sure whether GmfMap even supports arbitrary constraint languages. In
any case, could you please file an enhancement request for this and I'll
have a look at this when time permits :)

Cheers,
Dimitris
