Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to subclass the graphicAlgorithm Class and provide
my own class (Something similar to the Image class but with different behaviour)

What are the steps to achieve that?

Is it something recommanded?

Do I have to modify the graphiti source? or does Graphiti provides mecanisms to extends
its graphicAlgorithm?

Vincent

Regards,

Extending GraphicAlgorithms and providing own subclasses is not supported by
Graphiti. There is the concept of so-called PlatformGraphicsAlgorithms that
can be used to provide custom shapes that are provided using standard GEF
means.

Does that help?

Michael

Hi Michael,

The PlatformGraphicsAlgorithms seems to be the way to go. It work for me.

Thank you.
