Hi to all,

We do our headless build with ant. is it possible to execute gmf-generators from commandline (e.g. headless application, mwe-workflow.....) .

Hi,

yes you can use plugin provided by ecliptical. Update site: http://www.eclipticalsoftware.com/updates/site.xml

We are using it for our build. You can see here: http://www.bonitasoft.org/websvn/filedetails.php?repname=Bon ita+Open+Solution&path=/bonita-studio/trunk/releng/org.b onitasoft.studio-build/customTargets.xml
in the task postfetch

There are also ant task but I never use them already : https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=282331

You can try the Ecliptical GMF headless generator plugin, and take a look at line 155 here for an example: http://www.bonitasoft.org/websvn/filedetails.php?repname=Bon ita+Open+Solution&path=%2Fbonita-studio%2Fbranches%2Fbon ita-studio-5.3.1%2Freleng%2Forg.bonitasoft.studio-build%2Fcu stomTargets.xml

Hello.

I'm looking for a current (10/2014) way to generate the GMF editor plugin from the GMF gen model headless, on the command line. There are lots of stale links, but nothing that looks current. Does anyone know of a solution?

the Ecliptical update site is down. You can take a look to the code hosted on our git repo: https://github.com/bonitasoft/bonita-studio/tree/bos-studio-6.3.7-201409301715/patched-plugins/ca.ecliptical.gmf.ant

We are now using it in a Tycho build, see: https://github.com/bonitasoft/bonita-studio/blob/bos-studio-6.3.7-201409301715/bundles/plugins/org.bonitasoft.studio-models/pom.xml

Thanks for the quick reply and the pointer, Aurelien. Unfortunately, maven is not an option in my build environment. Is there anything that simply runs as a standalone executable?
