how do I modify org.eclipse.ui.workbench plugin [message #637807]

I want my application shaped changed by modifying org.eclipse.ui.workbench plugin.
but the problem is even though I import it with source , it is not operated.

How do I solve this out?

We don't understand. Do you want to apply patches to o.e.ui.workbench
and then deploy your updates version in your RCP app?

Are you working against 3.6?
