Hi,

Does anyone have information about the release timelines of the QVT
projects?

When is Procedural QVT expected to move out of incubation?
When will documentation for Operational QVT be available?

When will Declarative QVT code be available?

Thanks

Hi,

Concerning Declarative QVT (ie QVT Relations), we are planning to
release the compiler in mid-November. The front-end use is still under
heavy discussion.

Further informations will be given in the web page to come !

Best regards,

Hi David,

Basically Operational QVT staff (compiler, editor, launch
configurations, samples) is ready. Now available only from CVS
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/org.eclipse.m2m/org .eclipse.m2m.qvt.oml/?root=Modeling_Project

At the time we're preparing build procedure. Hope in three weeks
Download page will be ready. Documentation and Wiki come soon after that.

Best regards,
Sergey Boyko

Syntax, semantic and meta-model validating editors for QVTr and QVTc (and OCL and KM3) that convert
bidirectionally between CST (textual) and AST (Ecore or EMOF-based) are available from the GMT UMLX
sub-project update site.

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/gmt/umlx/updates/

[Use of the current state from CVS requires the latest MDT OCL release that incorporates the grammar refactoring to support
extensibility for e.g. QVT - https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=176110.]

Versions of QVTc, QVTo, QVTr meta-models autogenerated (unlike earlier manual edits) from the latest QVT.mdl are available from

http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextech.cgi/org.eclipse.gmt /umlx/plugins/org.eclipse.gmt.umlx.qvt/model/

Ecore-based variants of the same are available from

http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextech.cgi/org.eclipse.gmt /umlx/plugins/org.eclipse.gmt.umlx.eqvt/model/

Current UMLX work is directed towards making the editor transactional so that GMF-based graphical editing
pages can be used for meta-model and transformation entry. Looking forward to a QVTr compiler to target.

Dear Ed,

According to our roadmap the QVTR compiler will be the first the first
thing to come inside QVTR component (mid November). Our target is the
ATL Virtual Machine...

I am glad of the confluence of our interests.

Best regards
