Hello.

As you might notice I'm testing the CDateTime control a bit in the last
few day :)

And so I encountered a few things, which don't behave in way, which in
my opinion the should:

1.) Keyboard Navigation: If no date is selected (date == null)
CDateTime time says <Choose Date>. In that case it should be possible to
start typing and entering a new date or if the datepicker is dropped
down the current date should be just highlighted so that it's possible
to choose a special date via arrow keys. But when the date is null
dropping down the datepicker, no date is highlighted and that doesn't
enable keyboard navigation at the moment. In that case the mouse has to
be used instead to choose a date, which isn't appropriate when keyboard
navigation is more important than using a mouse.

2.) I'm using the CDateTime control within an Eclipse RCP application.
Each time a date is selected from the datepicker, the toolbar is drawn
black for a short time, while the datepicker is closing, after closing
the toolbar is refreshed to it's proper state. That's not a very nice
effect when demonstrating the RCP application to my boss. *g*

Thanks a lot for all your input.

Regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

I had noticed :)

Thanks for your input - it's very helpful; unfortunately I haven't had
the time to follow up right away and, though I got to some of the
issues, I'm out of time for this weekend.

Please file bugs for each of these issues when you get a chance so that
they don't get missed.

cheers
