started with Agent Controller' page talk about a `/bin` directory that
wasn't included on my download (called

I couldn't find any installation instructions specific to 4.2 on the
tptp docs page. The page I mentioned refers to version 4.1. Was there
any change to the installation process that I am not aware of?

Thanks, Heidi. I am currently downloading the runtime version.
The download is much larger. Am I supposed to locally build the SDK
version? Would this classify as a bug?

I filed a bug a while back because the web pages said the SDK was
runtime+what you needed to build against. The resolution was to change
the webpage, as the intent was apparently that you would get the
runtime, and if you wanted to build against it, you'd *add* the SDK.
With that resolution in hand, that's how we're changing the new
technology AC&SDK to be packaged as well. So I think it is debatable
which is "the right way". Nevertheless, you're on track getting things
going if you get the runtime.
Since you're on FC, make sure you don't try running with the default gcj
Java unless you know more about getting that to work than I do... you'll
need a Java download from somewhere else (Sun, IBM, etc.).
Oh, and your last question... the SDK is just stuff to "build against"
.... RAC libraries and include files that allow clients/agents to talk
through the RAC to each other... what are you wanting to do??
