I can't find the sqljdbc.jar file on my filesystem.
Is there any hint ?
Does BIRT 2.6.1 support Microsofts JDBC 3.0 driver with integrated
security at all?
Is the observed behaviour an error in BIRT Designer ?
Any hint is welcome.
p.s.: with SquirrelSQL, the database can be accessed without any error.

I assume you are using Java 6?

yes, i was able to get BIRT Designer up and running by using the JTDS
driver (with useNTLMv2 switch) instead of the Microsoft SQL driver.
But i didn't try out so far how the BIRT report-viewer Webapp will
behave under Tomcat 6 / Java 6 on Windows OS, if users will access the
reports via Internet-Explorer.
SSO and session path through is available for Actuate as far as i know
so far. For me it would be sufficient to have a BIRT extension to import
the username from NTLM as Report parameter for filtering.
I don't know if there is something already discussed here.
