Hi

I'm new to Birt.

I'm using Eclipse Helios and the built in Birt report designer.

I've created a simple report with just a table on it. I've set up a flat file datasource and dataset - a simple CSV file with a couple of rows in it. If I preview the dataset in the DataSet designer I can see the expected data.

I've put a table on my report and set its DataSet to my dataset - the Binding information is as expected.

BUT - when I preview or try to create my report - nothing is displayed.

I've tried several times to make this work and have stripped by CSV file down to a minimal set of rows and coilumns - but nothing seems to persuade BIRT to display the data.

Any help would be appreciated...
