Can I use WikiText for the Trac Wiki rather than the tickets [message #633166]

and if so how do I do this?

I suppose the question is, can I connect to the Trac Wiki (using the XML-RPC
interface) and edit pages in place from Eclipse, or extract the pages into
an Eclipse project, update them using WikiText and then put them back?

The features are there for editing wiki pages, but the XML-RPC
integration is not. You might want to look into an ECF-level
integration, where the Trac Wiki would be represented as a filesystem
within Eclipse. You could then just use the WikiText editor to edit pages.

Mylyn does not support editing Trac wiki pages but I believe there are other
plug-ins available that provide that functionality. Check on the Eclipse
Marketplace.

We did experimented with that as part of a Summer of Code project a while
back and the code is still in the sandbox in CVS but I can't say for sure if
it still works and there is no update site for installing it.
