HI,
I am new to EMF and especially CDO. I am trying to write a simple application to use CDO to persist my EMF objects to a database. What I am hoping is to have a client RCP load models from a CDO server on demand and have the CDO server retrieve/update/insert/delete data from a database. Have I understood the idea of CDO? Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial that may cover this.

Thanks

Pete

Hi Pete,

I'm currently out of office and can not go into details. I think CDO provides exactly what you're looking for. There are tutorials in the "User contributed documentation" section of the Wiki: http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDO

We're happy to answer more concrete questions when they arise ;-)

Cheers
/Eike

Pete,

if you are new to CDO it's best to start with this tutorial:

Thanks Martin and Eike. I'll take a look at these and see how I go. Thanks for the quick response.
