Hi All
Please take it easy on me
Just starting into the JAVA world and installing Eclipse with JDK6u21.
Downloaded Eclipse for Java Developers, unpacked it, installed it, read some intro tutorials, played about with the Perspectives, Editors, Views, Closed Eclipse.
Now can't find it anywhere on the PC.!!!!! Not in start menu, not in program folder, not on desktop
Can anyone help me find it. Does it by any chance need to be started from the exe file each time and be installed each time...I don't think it will be like this.........
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
You need to run the exe from where you unzipped it. You can create a
short cut if you want one; Eclipse does not install anything.

I'm from Germany and I can tell you the other way round is far worse.
If any OS isn't loaded yet, for example if Grub is broken and you need
to type commands manually, especially signs like /\()={[]} are
elsewhere than shown on the keyboard and you have to do that again and
again when there are errors, that really drives you crazy ;)
