I am using Eclipse 3.4.1 (Ganymede) with Mylyn 3.0.3. I am accessing my
own Bugzilla repository where Bugzilla is at 3.22.

Bugzilla is configured with usermatchmode=off.

If I use Mylyn to add a comment to a Bugzilla entry, when I submit the
update back to Bugzilla I get the following error.

Bugzilla was unable to make any match at all for one or more of the names
and/or email addresses you entered on the previous page.
Please go back and try other names or email addresses.
Assignee:
jgossage did not match anything

The actual name stored in the Bugzilla entry was jgossage@gossage.ca so it
appears that everything after the @ is being stripped off when the entry
is returned to Bugzilla.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix or workaround this problem.

MyLyn Bugzilla Connector can't works with 3.2+ yet. 3.0 is recommended.

For me this looks like you have not matching setting between

- Mylyn addition settings "local user enabled"
and
- Bugzilla ../editparams.cgi?section=auth parm emailregexp and emailsuffix

What are your values?

I am using the default Bugzilla values for emailregexp and emailsuffix.
emailregexp is "^[\w\.\+\-=]+@[\w\.\-]+\.[\w\-]+$" and emailsuffix is
blank. The Bugzilla parameters page claims the this will match a complete
email address.

I can find no reference to local user enabled in the Mylyn preferences.
