Hallo,

I'm a newbie to this topic and trying to create a customized sequence diagram from an input sequence diagram.
Up to now I have achieved to create lifelines in a empty diagram, but i cant figure out how to create a message that connects 2 lifelines.
I have also studied through the XML-structure of a sequence diagram and tried to find some hints that help me programming.
But if there is a docu. which describes how to create the elements in a sequence diagram? (such as messages, opt-/alt-Box, ..etc.) i would spare a lot of time.
Thanks!

See Reverse Java http://www.reversejava.com. This is an excellent tool to generate UML Diagrams

I found this documentation http://www.forum-omondo.com/documentation_eclipseuml_2008/re verse/reverse/reverse_engineering_example.html#6._Reverse_Me thod_and_map_this

This is a good start for understanding the sequence diagram reverse engineering concept.
