Hi All,

I set up TPTP 4.7 and I'm now trying to profile my application. When I
start the profiling (either using the Profile As... menu or the
-agentlib parameter) the profiling starts and Eclipse asks me to switch
to the Profiling and Logging perspective. I click yes and can see an
entry in the Profiling Monitor view for my process. But when I double
click on Execution Time Analysis for my process nothing happens. So can
not see the execution statistics (basically the tab just doesn't open).

What am I doing wrong?

Regards

Same here.
I'm using the integrated agent controller and if I manually run ACStart.sh and SampleClient everithing is working.
But when I profile my applications I cannot see any profiling views: if I right click on the profile monitor view I cannot see the "open with" entry.

Under the menu WIndows -> Show views -> Other I don't see any of these views:

* UML2 Trace Interaction views
* Execution Flow view
* Execution Statistics view
* Code Coverage Statistics
* Object references table
* Memory Statistics view
* Object Allocations view
* Thread Statistics view

Is it correct or I'm missing some tptp subcomponent ?

Hi,

The profiling views are contributed as part of the TPTP Trace Project. You can check to see if the feature containing these views are installed through the Help -> About Eclipse menu, selecting the Features tab in Installation Details and verifying the TPTP Trace feature is installed (org.eclipse.tptp.trace Feature Id).

If this feature is missing, the TPTP Installation Guide describes the different options for installation.

Same for me. I also missed to install the tracing component.
Thanks a lot.
