Barbara,

The UML <-> Ecore conversion is provided by the UML2 project, so it's
best to ask on their newsgroup about it; I've included it on the "to"
list of the reply. An example of something that exhibits the problem
might help; I know they use this process on UML itself to convert
UML.uml to UML.ecore so it must work pretty well generally...
