Hello,

I would like to use CDO together with PostgreSQL. I've found Victor Roldan Betancort provided initial implementation for the "postgresql" driver. However, this code seems to not be provided in helios repository. I've found it hosted on sf.net and tried to update from http://net4j.sourceforge.net/update -- which seems to install plugin sources but not plugin binaries. My first question is: is there anywhere plugin in binary form available ready for installation into Eclipse? If not, then is there any exact set of steps which need to be performed in order to get working plugin from the plugin sources (exactly postgresql db adapter sources, i.e. plugin: org.eclipse.net4j.db.postgresql.source_3.0.0.v20100614-1656. jar

Thanks!
Karel

Hi Karel,
the Helios Simultaneous Release must not contain features with external
dependencys.
To get all the features do you want, you can user the following small
tutorial:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Install_CDO_3.0_Features%2C_which_ar e_not_contained_at_the_Eclipse_3.6_%28Helios%29_Simultaneous _Release

I hope it will help you.

Greetings
Heiko

Hello Heiko,

thank you very much for your prompt help! My CDO server is already running against PGSQL happily. Your suggested solution was really what was missing here.

Thanks,
Karel
