ECF 2.0.0 milestone 4 is now available.

There has been great progress in API development, real-time shared
editing, as well as other areas of ECF (e.g. filetransfer for Equinox p2
work, etc). ECF 2.0 (Ganymede) is going to be a very exciting release!

I'm very pleased to say we have recently added a number of new
committers: Mustafa Isik, Marcelo Mayworm, Markus Kuppe... and gained
new momentum with pending contributions of the jSLP discovery and r-OSGI
remote services work by Jan Rellermeyer. Nice work and welcome aboard!

Note: this build works with both Eclipse 3.3 and 3.4 streams of the
Eclipse Platform.

See below for links for download. Thanks to all committers,
contributors, and the community for their ongoing contributions.

Scott

Greetings Folks,

Due to some recent work on the filetransfer API (specifically, the
addition of an asynchronous protocol independent remote directory
browsing API), and the addition of linux support for the Skype provider,
we've done another milestone build (4a), and it's available now.

ECF Extras: http://ecf1.osuosl.org/

M4 Plan: http://wiki.eclipse.org/ECF_Conference_Call_10.23.2007

Also, the daily build of the skype provider has been fixed, so daily
builds are now complete and fit for testing and/or use.

Have a happy new year!

Scott

Hi Folks,

In order to satisfy the p2 build needs for this bug 213381 [1], I've
created another ECF 2.0.0 milestone 4 build (c) and placed it on the ECF
download and associated 2.0 update site.

See the links below to get the latest.

Please also comment on and add to the ECF M5 Plan [2]

**ECF committers**: please review and comment on this draft M5 plan [2]
*prior* to next ECF conference call (1/22/2008 12:30pm pacific...see [3]).

Also, please indicate on the plan your time availability to address
relevant contribution areas in M5 timeframe (early Feb).

Thanks,

Scott
