Hello group

How can one try Jingle provider/voIP plugin developed by Moritz Post ?
I am having trouble running this with other example plugins as Moritz
work relies on smak library 3.x and also a modified version of XMPP plugin.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Roy

Hi Roy,

I'm copying Moritz on this because he can probably answer more definitively.

Moritz' work does rely on Smack 3.x library, and the Smack 3.0 library
requires an alternative version of the xmpp plugin (because Smack 3.0's
XMPP API changed).

The smack3 version of the org.jivesoftware.smack plugin is available here:

:pserver:anonymous@ecf1.osuosl.org:/ecf

in the smack3/org.jivesoftware.smack3 project.

The appropriate version of the xmpp provider plugin
(org.eclipse.ecf.provider.xmpp) is on a branch called:
Smack_3_0_0_v200611056319

We are anticipating eventually moving the Smack_3_0_0... version over to
the mainline, and moving the smack3 version of org.jivesoftware.smack3
over dev.eclipse.org mainline as well, but have not gotten to that. Any
help for those interested would be appreciated.
