For a number of years, the OSEE project (http://www.eclipse.org/osee)
has developed and deployed the XViewer widget as part of it's
engineering environment solution. Since this widget has applicability
beyond OSEE, we wanted to propose submitting it as part of the Nebula
project.

This would allow the Eclipse/SWT community to take advantage of it's
capabilities and also allow collaboration independent of OSEE.

XViewer information:
http://www.eclipse.org/osee/documentation/core/xviewer/xview er.php

Code can be accessed at:
https://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/technology/org.eclipse.osee/ trunk/org.eclipse.nebula.widgets.xviewer/

XViewer will be debuted at EclipseCon 2009:
https://www.eclipsecon.org/submissions/2009/view_talk.php?id =672

The code was recently split out from the other OSEE source. The plugin
name is named for where it was destined, not where is is committed yet.
Let me know if this is ok for the proposal phase.

Hi Don,

Great. We appreciate any contribution. Could you please post a proposal
to the nebula-dev mailing list. This the first step to announce
contributions. The newsgroup is more for user questions.

Thanks

Tom

Would you consider the build you're publishing to be alpha or full releases? Has it been tested?
