What's the relationship between the different index.jsp files in org.eclipse.help.webapp? [message #612029] Fri, 25 April 2008 21:57

Hi,

A recent question posted to another group got me looking at the jsp
files that are in org.eclipse.help.webapp, and prompted these questions.

There's an index.jsp file at the top-level of the jar, that then has a
test for AdvancedUI. If advanced, then there's another index.jsp in the
advanced directory; otherwise, there's another index.jsp in the basic
directory.

Does that step make the initial index.jsp get 'replaced' by the next
one? (either from advanced/ or basic/ directory)?

Also, in the SDK package, where is the source for these jsp files? I
looked in org.eclipse.help.webapp.source, but they don't seem to be
there. (This is the Eclipse SDK M6 package). The
org.eclipse.help.webapp jar has an
org/eclipse/help/internal/jsp/advanced/index_jsp.class in it, but is the
java file for that class not delivered in the SDK package?

Thanks!
Lee Anne
