Sounds like somebody woke up grumpy today.=20

For everyone else Genuitec is involved in a much broader range of =
commercial Eclipse-based activities than the MyEclipse Enterprise =
Workbench. Much of our efforts are concentrated towards assisting =
organizations understand and demonstrate the potential of Eclipse =
technology in their industries. At EclipseCon the Eclipse RCP was THE =
hottest topic and its expected impact far exceeds that of the developer =
tool market which most development is focused on today. We are expanding =
our staff to meet a growing demand for open-architectured, extensible, =
business desktop solutions based on Eclipse.=20

There are 2 points I want to leave you with in this reply. My first =
point is for all readers. Yes this is an advertisement but it also =
serves as an early industry datapoint. The demand for "non-Troll like" =
Eclipse technologists is growing and will continue to grow over the next =
few years. Think beyond the IDE space and identify how Eclipse can be =
used in new and novel ways within your industries. For example Genuitec =
is currently assisting in the development of Eclipse-based business =
solutions for the life-sciences, oil & gas exploration, network and =
security industries.=20

My second point is for Troll. When you first surfaced on the web I was =
initially humored by your contentious and sour rantings across the web - =
just human nature. But I quickly tired of your negative style of =
highjacking and crashing various forum threads with your shallow and =
close-minded "I'm always right" perspective. I hope others learn to =
ignore you as I have and focus their valuable time and efforts towards =
collaboration with other individuals and companies that seek to impact =
this emerging industry in a positive manner.=20

Regards,

Wayne Parrott

Well said..... I don't see any explicit rules that states you cannot put
this sort of info on Eclipse newsgroups especially as, I believe, it
benefits Eclipse overall.

Troll I suggest you take your rantings elsewhere.... oh and don't bother
replying to this as I'm taking Waynes advice and ignoring you!!

What spam? All I see is job posting that is appropriate to this newsgroup
and tagged as a [JOB] posting so you can ignore it if you want to.
Well-marked, on-topic job postings are beneficial to the community and may
prove quite helpful to anyone currently out of a job and would like to
continue doing Eclipse development.

So simply because a few dinosaurs refuse to upgrade their technology,
the rest of us should be forced to live with antiquated technology.

Grow up.

Yes, I understand that some folks don't like HTML news/mail, mainly due
to some security issues. There are many mail proggies out there that
will take care of this, allowing you to just view it as text if you
wish.

I like HTML mail/news messages for certain messages, especially when
emphasis can help make a post more clear. Normally I don't use it
(because of folks with attitudes like yours spamming me with "don't post
in html" email being a PITA), but occasionally it's very helpful.

not further waste everyone's time beyond my initial [JOB] posting subject
matter. In closing I leave you with a couple of definitions that seem most
appropriate for describing our little net Troll:

From "The Free On-line Dictionary of Computing"
"Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in
learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait.
Like the ugly creatures they are named after, they exhibit no redeeming
characteristics, and as such, they are recognized as a lower form of life on
the net. "

From the glossary of a kids book -
" A Troll is a despised "mythical" creature that traditionally lives in dark
isolated places such as a cave and can not survive in the light of day.

Wrong, honey. I have HTML mail, I was considering other people. Nice try but

You lot are too easy too lead along by the nose. A bit of semi-serious chat,
mix in a strong dose of flamebait and you're all having hysterics. It's no
fun any more. No one to match wits with, just trade insults. Boring.

Byeeeeee!

Troll.

I hope others learn to =

collaboration with other individuals and companies that seek to impact =
this emerging industry in a positive manner.=20

Well said..... I don't see any explicit rules that states you cannot put
this sort of info on Eclipse newsgroups especially as, I believe, it
benefits Eclipse overall.

Troll I suggest you take your rantings elsewhere.... oh and don't bother
replying to this as I'm taking Waynes advice and ignoring you!!

Joss

As I previously stated I tired of Troll's sour, immature, and insulting
style of interaction long ago. Now others are choosing to do the same and
consider his opinions irrelevant. I respect the Eclipse newsgroups and will
not further waste everyone's time beyond my initial [JOB] posting subject
