Just a gentle reminder to make sure your EclipseCon 2007 proposals for Short
Talks and demos are in by Jan 15th.. Web Tools currently has zero
submissions for either category in EclipseZilla. BEA would like to sponsor
a 100.00 Amazon.com gift certificate for your demo and / or short talk
submission, drawn at random. One winner from each category will be chosen
from the final list of accepted, WTP - related short talks / demos in the
"web development track".
(This means two winners total).

The winners will be announced shortly after
the review process has closed. I will exclude myself from this offer :)

Demo - Demos are half-hour semi-lecture style demonstrations of something
interesting about Eclipse or based on Eclipse. They are rather informal, in
a smaller room, and should not involve any significant slideware - perhaps
an introductory slide with your name and thereafter the demo. Submission
deadline January 15th.

Short Talk - A five to ten minute presentation that covers the highlights of
a topic. The goal of a short talk is to interest the audience in learning
more, either from your website or by talking to you later during the
conference. The time limits will be strict. Short talks are the EclipseCon
version of lightning talks (see the Perl conference's advice on giving a
lightning talk). Submission deadline January 15th.
