Hi,

Does anyone know about a book or articles which discuss the architecture
of Eclipse ? Just wondering how it works.

- articles on eclipse.org (http://www.eclipse.org/articles/index.html), e.g.
http://www.eclipse.org/whitepapers/eclipse-overview.pdf
- Contributing to Eclipse:

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the tips. The book on Eclipse, however, seems to give a rather
superficial overview of the Eclipse architecture (based on a review on
amazon).
Do you know any reference which goes into much more detail ?

Thanks,
Bart

Bart,
Did you find what you were looking for?
Eclipse Architecture information?
I'm thinking of using Eclipse as a basis for developing
our projects GUIs (the entire look would be gutted with
our applications, if that is possible), but all of the
ideas (views, help, MVC architecture) would stay.

Thanks,
Patrick
