Hi!

I want to create a new launcher for my plugin. Currently there are run and debug launchers. The launcher should work exactly like the run launcher for now, i just want a different icon for it.

Can you give me some direction where to start?

You need to extend the extension point org.eclipse.debug.core.launchConfigurationTypes. Look at the
source code of org.eclipse.pde.launching plug-in for example.
