We are looking for someone who is a plug-in tools developer and has Eclipse plug-in and/or RCP experience.

Required Experience:
- In-depth experience (2-3 years) using technologies such as Swing, Eclipse RCP.
- Experience building large desktop applications.
- Solid experience in object oriented programming, design patterns
- Java threading skills
- Passion for developing highly efficient and responsive user-interfaces.
Key Job Functions:
- Analyzes alternative approaches for systems solutions, and provides recommendations for the systems solution that best fulfills business requirements and aligns to IT standards and directions.
- Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and system components for hardware and software compatibility.
- Writes program code and performs testing and debugging of applications using contemporary programming languages and technologies.
- Ensures the on-going operability of systems solutions in a production environment. Responds to production malfunctions and provides timely and effective solutions.
- Designs, develops, and implements systems interfaces.
- Monitors and refines processes, procedures, and systems to optimize system effectiveness and/or integrity and recommends/implements improvements.
- Develops and provides system documentation.
This is a contract position located in Austin, Texas.
