Hi
I'd like to use the Nebula Grid in my project and thought I'd try out the examples, read through the snippets and then start work.
I've not managed to get the examples running.
This is what I have done so far:
1 - From my CVS Repositories, I've located the following entry:
HEAD: org.eclipse.swt.nebula
2 - I've Checked Out the project.
3 - I tried running directly from the Checked Out project, but I was unable to create a Run Configuration for this project. Is it possible to run directly from the Checked Out project? If so what do I need to do?
4 - I created a new Plug-in Project.
5 - Copied all the source files, icons, Manifest settings etc... from org.eclipse.swt.nebula.examples to my new Plug-in Project.
6 - I downloaded nebula-examples-ALL-incubation.zip, and updated the build path of my Plug-in Project.
7 - The project compiles ok, except for one problem in plugin.xml:
<extension point="org.eclipse.swt.nebula.examples.examples">
The error is "Unknown Extension Point".
I can confirm under the Extensions Point tab, if I open the "examples" Extension Point, the file "schema\examples.exsd" is opened and has the following entry:
<appInfo>
<meta.schema plugin="org.eclipse.swt.nebula.examples" id="examples" name="Nebula Example Part"/>
</appInfo>
I've probably approached running the examples in totally the wrong way, and any hints or pointers to an "idiots" guide to running the examples (and running checked out projects) would be warmly received.
Apologies in advance if this is not the correct forum to post these types of questions.
