I'm working on a Connectivity implementation and want to expose the query plan from my system. The only example for this I can find in DTP is the IngresExplainSQLActionDelegate that says this in its comments:

* Basically a copy of
* org.eclipse.datatools.sqltools.sqleditor.plan.ExplainSQLActi onDelegate with
* extension to be used as additional action in the SQLEditorService. XXX This class
* is for provisional usage only. It's obsolete when a menu entry for QEP generation is available.

I don't see that such a menu is there yet. Is that correct and we're left to our own devices for now as how we expose the plan?

thanks

There is currently no plan to enhance the Query Execution Plan code in
DTP. The committers who are familiar with that part of the code are no
longer active. I'm afraid you are on your own here.
