Okay, but here it is, the first test package that can be downloaded:

* with installer:
http://download.innoopract.com/epp/Install-EPPTest_JavaDevel oper-win32.win32.x86.exe

* without installer:
http://download.innoopract.com/epp/EPPTest_JavaDeveloper-win 32.win32.x86.zip

It is a package that contains the Java features plus Mylar (including the
Bugzilla components), based on Eclipse 3.3M6. It is a package to get some
feedback about the installer, the content, and the handling of packages in
general. It is NOT an official eclipse.org download or an official release!

Please test it and send any feedback to the newsgroup or create Bugzilla
entries in the Technology/EPP product.

Additional download packages for other platforms and with updates will
follow in the next few days.

This is a great start. Some comments on my experiences.

1. I would not call this the 'Eclipse Package'. I would call it something
that identifies it as the Eclipse package that is for Java developers.
How about 'Eclipse Java IDE'.

2. On the Welcome screen, we should update the wording to detail what is
included in this package. If you want I can volunteer to provide some
wording.

3. We need to remove the 'Powered by Instantiations' logo. Sorry :-)

4. For the license accept we need to use the EPL. However, I think we
should check to see if we actually need this step. I will ask Janet.

5. I would make the default directory 'Progam Files\Eclipse\Eclipse Java
IDE'

6. Did we want to include a step to select a Java VM or are you defaulting
to the existing jvm on the system?

7. It would be nice to have some graphics include in the installer.
Maybe we could take the Eclipse splash screen and modify it to say
'Eclipse Java IDE'.

8. On Windows should we not create a desktop icon and make sure Eclipse
shows up on the program menu?

btw, I did not look at how Mylar is integrated. Maybe someone from the
Mylar team can comment?
