Hi all,

I am encountering a Chinese Displaying problem in my Eclipse editor.

My Eeclips can not display Chinese, moreover, I even can't change the
encoding in preferences to GB18030 or GBK, because there is not such
option in it.

Could somebody pls. tells me where can I get the encoding plugin, or
something?

My Eclipse is Eclipse Europa 3.30 (Build id:I20070625-1500), PDT.

Thanks
Johnny

You can get Eclipse (and PDT) to work with not listed encodings by
manually inputting in in the encoding field (eg. file/directory
preferences > text file encoding > other). I work with ISO-8859-2
without any problems. The only problem you may encounter is that PDT
currently has problems with multibyte encoding support, it's usable but
eg. error highlight can be a few characters off. Zend is working on
fixing that.
