Dear Eclipse Users,
BPMN is becoming a de-facto standard for the graphical modeling of both
traditional business processes and BPEL processes. It is promoted under the
banner of OMG, and many software tools allow for the design and use of BPMN
diagrams (e.g., Popkin, ARIS, Proforma etc.)
But what exactly are the factors that drive this acceptance? How satisfied
are you as a end user of BPMN with the notation? Do your experiences on BPMN
match those by tool vendors and service providers?
These questions and more are the centre of a research study conducted by our
BPM Research Group at QUT. We have developed a survey for users of BPMN. If
you have ever used BPMN to model a process, you
can help us by completing the survey available here:
http://www.bpm.fit.qut.edu.au/projects/acceptance/survey/BPM N/
Please consider spending 15 minutes of your time to complete the survey. The
data will be considered strictly confidential and incentives for
participation are provided on the webpage. The survey remains open until
midnight July 31, 2007. If you have any further questions about this
research project, please contact me directly.
Many thanks for participating in this important study.
All the best,
Jan Recker
