hi
I'd like to have a meeting in Europe (and one in Australia too).
It's a bit of a catch-22 - we don't have anyone in Europe, because
we don't meet in Europe. We don't meet in Europe because we don't
have anyone there.
Actually, neither of those things is actually true.
We've only had one meeting and we have this meeting scheduled.
At our only other meeting we had 2 representatives from Europe
(Wales and Finland)
we are aware of the importance of global standards, there's several
CEN standards of importance such as 13606 and others you allude to
outside the direct healthcare domain

hi
I will be posting a summary of the outcomes soon; unfortunately
a glut of meetings has prevented me from posting anything since
the meeting

I am in Leeds (working for the UK NHS Connecting For Health).
So possibly a meeting in the UK might be of use as we have a fair number
of suppliers as it is a fairly chunky program.

If nobody of them is going, sad, but it does not matter so much.
As all I can sumarise about OHF (in just 15min.) should be known to them
anyway.
So it is more to make some people there, who do NOT know it yet curious
and do a little "Evangelism" to maybe gain new stakeholders and supporters
for the project.
When do you think will the OHF project page contain something other than
the "Under Construction" notice ??
I pointed to it, and the proposal archive at Eclipse also shows it exists,
but it might look more promising to some visitors of JavaPolis (and other
people, too) if there was some content, even if if matches the documents
around here mostly...
(I know, it might be a bit tough by Dec 12th, but maybe somebody with
update permission has a chance to do so in those 2 weeks? unfortunately I
myself am not online outside the office and will not get a new broadband
until back from Antwerp and moved into new place ;-)
