Hi,
I have EGit 0.7.1 installed. The documentation states changes to a file can be reverted using "Replace with" -> "File in GIT index"
http://wiki.eclipse.org/EGit/User_Guide#Replace_with_File_in _Git_Index

I would love to use that command, but it does not show up when I right click a file.
So in the end I drop on the command line and make a git checkout manually, but it's quite tedious.

Has the command disappeared? Or the guide describes abilities that will be available in future releases?

Hi Andrea,

the user guide in the wiki is used to describe the state of the HEAD in the
EGit repository. It is in fact the place where the contributers create the
documentation of new features.
You may find the documentation of 0.7.1 in the help of your IDE.

The Replace with" -> "File in GIT index" came in after 0.7.1 was released.
You may try the nightly build:
http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates-nightly/ (It is quite safe to use
the nightly build).
