all out and I feel like all these Java specific features are adding

Is there a module under "software updates => manage configuration" that is
safe to disable if I'm not going to be doing any Java Development?

of options and most of them seem Java-specific. Also, when examining all

I realize that Eclipse was originally built for Java development (as I
understand it) but I'm trying to keep memory/cpu usage down as much as
possible. Running PDT/Eclipse I regularly see memory usage approaching
400mb (on OS/X), although to be fair that is with the integrated Firefox
browser.

specific activities from a future version of PDT-all-in-one? Eclipse is
massive, resource intensive and complex and I'm trying to understand why a
PHP IDE would come standard with all this Java development functionality,
(including perspectives/key bindings/config preferences and so on).
Simply trying to figure out how to do simple key bindings is overwhelming
because there are several hundred Java specific commands in the key
binding preferences (as just one example).
So will there ever be an all-in-one version without all this java
development stuff (JDT?) included? Alternately is there a way to remove or
disable it?
